Wastewater Heat Recycling Achieving Sustainable Growth in Germany

Evidence of this commitment to progress is the signing of a new policy initiative in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The state has now launched this new program to further accelerate the pace of the heat transition using this previously underutilized source. According to current state estimates, around 800 sewerage projects will be needed to achieve the targets for the expansion of wastewater heat in the region by 2045.
